- Provide the terms of a student's Incomplete grade
LCC Incomplete Grade Policy:
Incomplete (I) grades may be assigned by the instructor of a course at grading time to a student who, in the instructor's judgment, has completed most but not all of the instructional objectives of the course. Incomplete grades may impact the student's financial aid award (if applicable).
An Incomplete must be completed by a student within one year of when it was assigned or less if specified by the instructor. Any grade turned in beyond one year must first be approved by the Academic Standards Committee. When the final grade is turned in, the final grade replaces the I on the student's transcript and the student is notified of the change to their transcript.
